RA Powell Construction is a construction company in Lunenburg, Massachusetts. The company is owned by lifelong Lunenburg residents and brothers, Jeff and Steve Powell, sons of Ray Powell, who founded the company in 1969. We take great pride in our quality and reputation within the construction industry.

Our company has succeeded by providing the same high level of commitment to each and every client and by taking a leadership role in the growth and development of Central Massachusetts.

We specialize in a variety of markets, including K-12 and higher education, public works facilities for both local and Federal government, private development projects and LEED projects.

Started with an old pickup

In 1969 we combined an old pickup truck with serious ambition and jumped in with both feet. Today, RA Powell maintains a fleet of 90 pieces of construction equipment. We continue to build success and refine our process in the pursuit of the good life. Today, RA Powell employs close to eighty skilled professionals.

RA Powell Construction is a family-owned construction company dedicated to expanding with the community of Lunenburg, Massachusetts. As a company, we are active statewide in site development work and use our expertise and experience to meet our clients' needs. RA Powell provides a variety of site construction services for our customers, conveniently offering them all in one place. These services include handling commercial site prep and utilities, foundation, flat work and soil reclamation.
